The Plutoos PL11788 is a 3-in-1 magnetic charging cable with three interchangeable magnetic tips — Lightning, Micro-USB and USB-C. That covers iPhone, iPad, Android phones, tablets, cameras, Bluetooth headphones, game controllers and almost anything that charges through one of these three ports. One cable instead of three on your desk or on the road.
The magnetic connector pulls the plug precisely into the correct position — one-handed, in the dark, no fumbling and no upside-down inserts. The tip stays permanently in the device port and doubles as a dust plug; the cable itself simply docks onto it magnetically. This noticeably reduces wear on your device's charging port, because the mechanical stress of plugging in and out is removed.
Robust construction: PVC core, nylon-braided sleeve, ABS connectors, and an aluminium-alloy magnetic head. An integrated LED at the magnetic joint glows blue as soon as current flows — you can see at a glance whether the connection is solid. Cable length is 1 m. 2. How fast does it charge?
Up to 3 A current (drawn from the wall adapter), which is about 15 W at 5 V. That qualifies as fast-charge for most smartphones. Note: for higher USB-C PD speeds (18 W+), this cable is capped at 3 A — for full iPhone or MacBook PD speed you need a dedicated USB-C-to-USB-C cable.
3. Does it also do data — e.g. iPhone backup to a Mac?
Yes, the cable carries data up to 480 Mbps (USB 2.0 standard). That is sufficient for photo sync, backups, file transfer and Apple iTunes/Finder sync. For USB 3 speeds (5 Gbps and higher) you need a dedicated USB 3 cable — those speeds are not standardised over magnetic pogo-pin connections.
