The Plutoos SubliJet Sublimation Ink in Black is a compatible alternative for Sawgrass SG400 and SG800 sublimation printers (including SG400NA, SG400EU and SG800NA). Sublimation ink is used to print on polyester textiles, mugs, coasters, mouse pads and polyester-coated hard surfaces — the ink transfers directly into the fibre when heated with a heat press.
The black cartridge holds 60 ml of sublimation ink and replaces the black cartridge in Sawgrass printers. Black is used in sublimation printing for deep outlines, lettering and rich shadow tones — the cartridge snaps directly into the cartridge slot.

1. Does this ink work with every Sawgrass printer?
This cartridge is designed for the Sawgrass SG400 and SG800 series (incl. SG400NA, SG400EU, SG800NA). For other Sawgrass models (e.g. Virtuoso SG500/SG1000), please select the matching Plutoos product.
2. What is the difference between sublimation ink and regular ink?
Sublimation ink transfers directly into polyester material when heated with a heat press. It is used exclusively for sublimation printing — not for everyday paper prints.
3. Which materials can I print on?
Polyester textiles (T-shirts, sportswear), coated mugs, coasters, mouse pads, aluminium and hard surfaces with sublimation coating. Plain cotton without coating will not work.
4. How fast is delivery?

5. Does using compatible cartridges void my printer warranty?
