Installation & first use

1. Unpack both parts only right before installing.
2. Gently rock the toner cartridge 5–6 times horizontally to distribute the toner, then remove the protective seal.
3. Click the toner cartridge into the new drum unit, then insert the assembly until it clicks into place.
4. Confirm the non-genuine cartridge message with OK — this is normal.
5. After replacing the drum, reset the drum counter (menu or front-cover button, as described in your printer's manual).
6. Caution: never touch the green drum roller — fingerprints and scratches cause permanent print defects.

Care & storage

• Store cool, dry and dark — away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
• Never touch the drum surface or expose it to direct light.
• Store the cartridge horizontally, in its original protective bag.
• Once opened, use the cartridge up rather than storing it — opened toner cartridges attract humidity and dust over time.

Good to know

• Works like the original: The printer detects and uses both parts exactly like the originals.
• «Toner low» message: This message often appears early. Remove the cartridge and gently rock it side to side — this often yields many more pages.
• Toner vs. drum: Two different consumables — fading print points to the toner, streaks and repeating marks to the drum. This set renews both.
• Drum yield: Rated in page turns and independent of the toner level.
